Best Gaming Music – The Ultimate Gaming Playlist.

Best Gaming Music Collaboration Known to Man..No Seriously.

Below we are going to introduce you to the best gaming music soundtrack of all time..so far. This task was really hard. We went through what seemed like hundreds of articles and games, just to find the perfect soundtracks based on what the people thought and what the experts though. Do you know hard it is to find that balance? It’s hard. Anyways, like it or hate it – here is the gaming songs and soundtrack which we think are the best.

We won’t pretend we are devoted gamers and start listing off all the games we ‘kind’ know of.

“I used to love playing Call of Duty with all mates when I was 16″. There now that’s out of the way, let’s continue with our pitch of why we think you should choose our gaming playlist.

First and foremost, we did our research. Our team of curators and researchers teamed up to form a rather majestic synergy, finding the best gaming music online. We went through articles, blogs, socials and quite a fair few games. So without further due, here is our gaming playlist…or here is a description of the top 10 tracks anyway.

Chrono Trigger

One of the most popular soundtracks in the gaming world. Described by Takashi Tokita  as like a festival. Songs like “Guardia Castle” and “Corridors of Time” are able to capture the tonal breadth of the game, shifting from orchestral stoicism to synthesized awe and wonder between the two of them.

Persona 4

This one is made by the great Shoji Meguro, who is actually wild. Attempting to mix jazz into a j-pop, alt-rock type of setting is absolute madness and virtually impossible… for anyone else. The Persona 4 soundtrack is as smooth as they come, described by numerous magazines as ‘effervescent as an autumn breeze’. This is an ideal gaming soundtrack for anything along the lines of fiction, mystical creatures and mainly RPG’s.

Mega Man X

This gaming soundtrack is pure metal and more metal. The original Mega man’s adventures rocked pretty hard, however it wasn’t until Mega Man X, that the soundtrack took it up a whole another level. Our favourite is the beginning of “Central Highway” – the first few seconds literally get your blood pumping, especially through that crazy wailing guitar that travels throughout the entire track.  The Mega Man X, continueso produce amazing soundtracks that will literally rock you out of your seat.

Halo 3

Who doesn’t like Halo, seriously? If you ever even had a childhood and/or friends who were an ounce of fun, then you would know that Halo really is the one the best gaming soundtracks of all time. The Halo soundtrack began a joint venture with Marty O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori’s who originally started a sci-fi shooter, currently owned by Microsoft called Bungies. This soundtrack theme has been around for a while, however once introduced into the Halo 3 game, the famous chant-laden theme provided us all with the best backing music for our Master Chief adventures.

Street Fighter 2

The story, ambition and overall creativity of Street Fighter 2’s team is still as inspiring today as it was back in 1991. This was some of the earlier work of Yoko Shimomura, as he began this project fresh out of college, which really adds to the authenticity and raw energy behind this gaming soundtrack.

Ballers Soundtrack – Featuring Music From The Hit Series Ballers

Ball So Hard – The Ultimate Ballers Soundtrack

Get your hustle with this collection of artists. Inspired by the American comedy-drama television series starring Dwayne Johnson,  former football superstar Spencer Strasmore as he tries to find the same success off-the-field as a financial manager for current and former players in Miami, building a client base of young Football superstars. This playlist features artists from the series which you know and love, however we have also scoped out the ending credits of each season for those golden nuggets that would play for only a few seconds. In addition to having songs from Ballers, we are also adding ant artist who we think would complement the existing soundtrack. If you wish to submit your own music for this soundtrack, head over to our submit page, follow the playlist and you will be directed to a submission form – fill that bad boy out and you are done. We actually do review every song that comes through, so please be patient with us. If you are successfully added, we will notify you with an email and maybe even give you a shout out across our socials.

Atypical Soundtrack – Official Spotify Playlist for the Netflix Series.

Atypical Soundtrack and  Official Spotify Playlist – Most Underrated Artists

Atypical, created by Robia Rashid (best known for How I Met Your Mother and The Goldbergs) is a coming of age dark comedy, released by Netflix on August 11, 2017. The series follows the life of 18-year old Sam Gardner, who is high on the autism spectrum. While this series adds a unique perspective on mental illness, it also does it in a clever and funny way. The Atypical soundtrack also introduces us to some amazing new artists.

What does it mean to be normal?

That is the biggest mission that Netflix and the creatives behind Atypical faced when launching the series. Sam Gardner is your average high school senior, who goes through normal everyday life such as popularity, getting a girlfriend and all the struggles that come with it. The fact that he has autism really sheds a different light on these otherwise normal issues and this creates a really interesting narrative.

Behind the Soundtrack Atypical

The soundtrack of Atypical has a mixture of indie alt-rock, upbeat acoustic and pop. One amazing thing that we love about finding soundtracks from popular shows and movies is how always feature and sometimes even launch new and uprising talent. So without further due, here are some completely underrated artists who seemed to of made a debut in Atypical.

  1. Charles William

This song sounds like it was made for the show. Working as a very accurate interpretation of the vibe of the show is in the first trailer which features Charles William’s hit single ‘No Ordinary’. This small indie acoustic band currently boasts just over 39,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

2. Milo Green

This self-proclaimed cinematic indie pop band first began in Los Angeles. Since starting their sound has really started to grow and develop new fans. By knowledge, the band is currently signed to Atlantic records and killing it on Spotify with over 500,000 monthly listeners, with their most popular single ‘1957’ gaining over 27m streams.

3. Glass Animals

Glass Animals have gone from strength to strength. We still remember first hearing them across Triple J on Australian Radio and then hearing them on the opening credits on Taken 3. Featured in season 1 of Atypical, Glass Animals ‘Black Mambo’ adds to the weird, yet the quirky and loveable character of Sam.
